My name is Capt. Jeff Hartung Jr., I am a USCG licensed Captain and a Texas Parks and Wildlife licensed fishing guide. I grew up fishing along the South Texas Gulf Coast my whole life. I come from a long line of fishing captains dating back to my Great Grandfather who owned and fished out of Capt Wileys Marina on South Padre Island, then my grandfather who fished and guided many years out of the same area, followed by two uncles who are going on 35+ & 40+ years as fishing guides. Growing up, spending time with them, I knew I wanted to become a fishing guide. Here i am following in their footsteps.

I became a fishing guide for my love of fishing and to pass along my knowledge, experience and skills to others who enjoy fishing. I have been fishing the South Texas area exclusively for 10+ years now, both offshore and in the bay. I also specialize in targeting Tarpon around the jetties and along the beach of South Padre Island.
